Building my Machine, Day 2

Today was a huge day on production. The progress that it takes for this machine is insane. They said that it only takes 4 hours to put this machine together but….. It has taken me 12 hours (If not more) to get this far. Yeah I had to take some breaks to help out with my family and I had some stuff to put together. But I got the gantry put together, the side rails and the entire machine put together. Tomorrow is going to be the Wiring portion to make sure that everything and the is wired properly. There are three things on this that if I messed up on, the entire thing would have been trashed. This is called a CNC machine. This will let me design things on the computer and have the machine carve it out of all of the materials that are located on the Services Page. The best thing about this is I get to design so many different things and I get to carve them out. It is going to be my designs that get carved out of this and I can use my IT background to learn how to use it. I find this really amazing because there are so many things that I have always wanted to make myself and for others and now I will be able to do so. Custom sunglasses, beard combs, guitars, literally anything as long as its not above 1000 mm or 39 inches. I cannot wait to start using this thing. I was so excited when I received this in the mail and I could not wait to start on it. So I am happy with the progress that I have made. I really hope that this does well for me.

I also learned that there are going to be more things that I am going to have to get for this thing as well to make it better and more proficient. So that is going to be something that I am going to do later on and I will blog about. This has been an amazing experience so far because I only got the machine completely disassembled. Like it started with me having to hand screw 144 small things into the waste board alone. That was a task that hurt my hands so bad, and later realized that I could have used a drill the entire time after watching a video. Note that I am also having to do this on the floor so that I can make a table for it later because no one on YouTube explained how to do this and I was searching for ever and ever so yeah…. I hope that you guys like this type of thing that I am doing. Let me know in the comments. Thanks everyone!
